The Role:

The Senior Director of Sales Operations is a strategic leader responsible for driving operational excellence and enabling Hazel Health’s Sales team to achieve ambitious growth objectives. Reporting to the President, this role oversees district-to-district sales strategies, territory alignment, and outcomes tied to CARR targets while ensuring coordination with state-level initiatives. Managing a team of 5-8 sales leaders and account executives, this Senior Director will build scalable, data-driven systems that enhance efficiency, empower the team, and support Hazel’s mission of expanding access to healthcare for all children.

What You’ll Do:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Lead the design and implementation of integrated district-to-district sales strategies that align territories, achieve CARR targets, and address the unique needs of diverse school districts; partner with sales leaders to create operational frameworks that deliver measurable results.
  • Sales Infrastructure Development: Build and manage Hazel’s sales infrastructure, including CRM platforms and analytics tools. Take a hands-on approach to developing scalable systems that deliver reliable data, actionable insights, and seamless reporting to support team performance and growth.
  • Performance Analytics & Reporting: Establish and maintain dashboards and reporting mechanisms that track key sales metrics, pipeline health, and team performance. Use insights from these tools to optimize strategies, allocate resources, and ensure alignment with growth objectives.
  • Sales Enablement & Training: Create and implement training programs, tools, and resources that equip sales leaders and account executives with the skills and knowledge to excel. Foster a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement across the Sales team.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, and Product teams to align sales strategies with organizational goals. Cycle insights from the field back to these teams to refine messaging, campaigns, and product offerings, ensuring Hazel remains responsive to market needs.
  • Incentives & Resource Optimization: In collaboration with the People team, develop and manage incentive structures that drive performance while maintaining budgetary alignment. Strategically allocate resources and refine territory coverage to maximize impact and achieve sales goals.

Total compensation for this role is market competitive, with a base salary range of $200,000- $230,000, a 401k match, healthcare coverage, paid time off, and a broad range of other benefits and perks. Review our benefits at Hazel Health Benefits.
