Senior Director of Business Development

What will success look like in this position? 

The Senior Director of Business Development will be instrumental in new customer acquisition objectives for our SaaS products.  This role involves forming the team, setting strategies for prospecting and client engagement, and overseeing the team's day-to-day operations.  Success at Catchpoint comes from someone who is naturally entrepreneurial, effective and thrives in a culture of collaboration.  

 

 Responsibilities

  • Strategically map out and break into large accounts.  
  • Ability to articulate the value of a complex solution to practitioners, first-line managers, and executive leadership
  • Work with enterprise organizations with complex buying processes
  • Demonstrate your ability to develop your business as a trusted partner further by an in-depth understanding of pipeline, business practices, industry trends, and competitive landscape
  • Consistently exceed quota targets 
  • Hire, train, and manage an SDR team responsible for prospecting into Europe and the United States

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience selling SaaS solutions to Enterprise businesses  
  • Highly motivated and well-developed business acumen  
  • Knowledge of Force Management and Command of the Message selling methodologies.  
  • Experience in consultative solutions selling in network, internet, APM or related software  
  • A personality that thrives in a collaborative environment to effectively leverage SDRs, SEs, CSMs, marketing, RevOps tools, and senior executives to drive account success 
  • Experience selling to financial services, retail, IT infrastructure, and/or SaaS 
  • Strong experience in team building and management. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Proficiency in English and local languages. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
