Mindshare is an agency of GroupM, world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a Director – Strategy for Mindshare North team. In this role you will be managing client relationships and help drive strategic interventions. Candidates must be conversant with audience sizing, media habits, TV channel details (e.g. Reach, channel share, etc.) and writing a strategy deck. The role demands working with software like TGI, IRS, leading Channel strategies and ideation to yield better conversions. The candidate will also have a huge array of fast moving data to be decoded from the digital ecosystem (i.e. SimilarWeb, Google search, FB audience insights, etc.)
This is an active client facing role that is meant to shape thinking of the client on how media is deployed in the vast ecosystem of choices and in the fast-changing world that exist today. The strategy lead will be called upon to have strong POV on marketing/media best practices for brands in the post-COVID world. The role also calls for learning Mindshare tools and practices – and bring them to life for the set of client brands he/she is working on. In coming times, the person will need to lead a team – hence needs strong interpersonal skills and skills to mentor newbies.
