We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Director, HR Business Partner to lead and drive HR initiatives for our R&D department spanning across four global locations. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing expert guidance and support on all people-related matters. You will play a critical role in shaping the organizational structure, fostering a high-performance culture, and driving programmatic change to elevate the performance bar within R&D.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior R&D leaders across all locations, acting as a strategic partner and consultant.
- Deeply understand the R&D function's business objectives, challenges, and talent needs.
- Proactively identify and address HR implications of business strategies and initiatives.
- Partner with R&D leadership to develop and implement workforce plans that align with business goals.
Organizational Design & Effectiveness:
- Lead organizational design and development initiatives to optimize team structures, roles, and responsibilities within R&D.
- Drive initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness, including process improvement and change management.
- Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to enhance organizational performance.
Talent Management & Development:
- Partner with R&D leaders to identify and develop critical talent.
- Oversee performance management and succession planning for the R&D department.
- Coach and mentor managers on effective leadership practices, performance management, and employee development.
- Collaborate to design and implement programs to enhance employee engagement, development, and retention within R&D.
Executive Coaching:
- Provide coaching and guidance to senior R&D executives on leadership development, team dynamics, and organizational effectiveness.
- Facilitate leadership development programs and initiatives.
Change Management:
- Lead change management initiatives related to organizational restructuring, process improvement, and cultural transformation within R&D.
- Effectively communicate change initiatives to employees and manage any resistance.
Collaboration with Centers of Excellence (COE):
- Partner with HR COEs (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, Employee Experience) to leverage their expertise and resources in support of R&D initiatives.
- Provide feedback and input to COEs to ensure that their services are aligned with the needs of the R&D department.
Local Support
- Provide HR support locally in Greece, where required. This is secondary to the global departmental responsibility
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience as an HR Business Partner, with at least 5 years at a senior level.
- Proven experience working with and influencing senior leaders in a global organization.
- Essential: Demonstrated experience working with locations and leaders outside of Greece.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and talent management principles.

Experience in proactive organizational design that drives value creation
Experience in driving organizational effectiveness - ( eg supporting leaders to set well-defined goals for employees, outlining ways to efficiently execute those goals, implementing clear decision-making processes and communication pipelines)
- Highly Desirable: Experience working in a SaaS or technology-driven business environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business drivers.

- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
