Visa’s Innovation & Design team is a global client-facing organization that sets Visa’s public innovation agenda, promotes hands-on incubation and rapid prototyping with clients and partners, and elevates the design and user experiences of Visa products and services. We are currently recruiting for a Senior Director to lead our Innovation & Design efforts in China. This role will report to the Head of Products, Greater China.
What a Sr. Director, Head of Innovation & Design, China does at Visa
As China Head of Innovation & Design, you will drive Visa innovation agenda in China and lead Visa Innovation Studio in Beijing, a state-of-the-art facility where Visa collaborates with Chinese and International clients and partners to discover growth opportunities and design new commerce and payments solutions using human-centered design methodology. You will deliver a spectrum of client engagements including Innovation Studio experiential tours, in-field immersions and co-creation sprints. You will also collaborate with technical leaders and development teams to design and build best-in-class user experiences for Visa new products in the China market.

Responsibilities
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office three days a week, Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.
• 15+ years of experiences with 7+ years of client-facing experience in consulting, digital agency, start-ups, technology or financial services
• Strong executive presence with expertise in leading workshops and exploratory discussions with c-level clients
• Solid track record in designing and commercializing digital products and services in financial services, payments or commerce sectors, preferably with hands-on experience in human centered design
• Expert in translating client needs into meaningful problem statements and structuring the right project approach to design and develop the desired solutions
• Industry experience in financial services, payments or e-commerce highly desirable
• Proven ability to engage and drive commercial outcomes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English
• Post graduate and or MBA degree highly desirable
