Senior Director Finance

Location Details: United States, Remote 

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.  

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

Reporting into GoDaddy’s Vice President of Finance, our Senior Director, Finance is a key partner to our marketing leadership team and leading our finance strategic focus across our organization including key performance indicators and cross-team initiatives.  

You will facilitate clear understanding of objectives, with a remit encouraging meaningful cross-functional engagement across the organization with our executives, finance leaders, engineering leaders, strategic partners, and other key collaborators.

What you'll get to do...

  • Provide strategic finance leadership and tactical execution oversight across our assigned company-wide initiatives
  • Build and maintain relationships with our business partners and serve as a key point of contact for finance guidance and associated discussions, including evaluation of our return on investments
  • Own and lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process for responsible areas
  • Lead executive level reporting, including preparing materials and communicating insights to company leaders, providing insights into the business drivers which positively affect our financials
  • Drive vision to lead from the front and side: influencing across our organization and leading from behind in being a coach and mentor

Your experience should include...

  • 10+ years of financial experience including financial modelling, forecasting and scenario planning, and investment analyses in a global, technology organization
  • 5+ years of leadership experience advising business partners, and overseeing and developing teams
  • Strong executive presence, communication, and leadership skills
  • Meticulous analytical and quantitative skills and strong business proficiency – defining finance strategy, identifying, and defining business opportunities, and crafting and driving delivery plans
  • Strategic mentality, a self-starter, able to demonstrate working independently as well as in team settings
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, a sense of personal accountability, and vitality for achieving results
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and adapt to prioritize multiple projects
  • Ability to work in coordination with and collaboratively across all levels, and with external partners, enhancing performance, problem solving, and results

You might also have...

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance
  • Master's degree in Business, Finance or equivalent experience
