Senior Director, Civilian Sales

The Role:
As the Director of Civilian Sales at Recorded Future, you will lead a dynamic team charged with driving growth through strategic new business acquisition and by maximizing the value of our existing relationships in the U.S. Civilian sector. Your role is pivotal in guiding organizations to secure their operations and drive substantial growth by leveraging our actionable intelligence integrated across their security architecture. This position calls for a visionary leader who excels in sales execution, is committed to delivering exceptional value, and thrives on innovation in intelligence-driven solutions.

What you’ll do as Director, Civilian Sales:

  • Develop and communicate strategic plans that leverage Recorded Future's comprehensive threat intelligence capabilities, specifically tailored to the civilian market.
  • Drive sales strategy and performance with hands-on involvement in sales calls, providing real-time guidance to sellers.
  • Establish and execute short-term and long-term sales strategies, using KPIs and OKRs to drive decision-making and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Foster a positive, accountable environment by mentoring all sellers and focusing on their continuous professional growth.
  • Ensure the effective implementation of enterprise sales methodologies and value selling to maximize deal potential and client satisfaction.
  • Utilize SaaS tools such as Gong and Clari to analyze data and generate insights, managing both leading and lagging indicators for accurate forecasting.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor, keeping leadership informed of key issues and potential deal changes that impact results.
  • Champion a team-oriented culture that promotes collaboration and assistance on deals, with an emphasis on creativity and deal progression.

What you’ll bring as the Director, Civilian Sales:

  • 5+ years of managerial experience within the civilian sales space.
  • Proven track record in the cybersecurity industry, demonstrating the ability to lead teams to exceed sales quotas.
  • Expertise in utilizing metrics for performance management and operational decisions.
  • Strong proficiency in enterprise sales methodologies and value selling.
  • Effective use of SaaS tools for strategic insights and operational efficiency.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and presentation skills.
