Senior Director, Chief of Staff, Field Operations 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic individual to join Okta as the Chief of Staff for Field Operations. In this pivotal role, you will directly support our Chief Revenue Officer, sit on Okta’s Field Leadership team, and collaborate closely with the broader Go-To-Market (GTM) Leadership team to drive strategic initiatives and projects across the organization. The successful candidate will possess a unique blend of strategic sales acumen, exceptional communication skills, and a relentless commitment to flawless execution.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee strategic business initiatives, from development through successful execution, under the guidance of CRO, senior leadership and department heads
  • Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert, handling inquiries, developing action plans, and assisting with the preparation and dissemination of communications
  • Partner with the GTM Operations team to streamline sales processes and workflows to optimize efficiency and effectiveness. Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity.
  • Foster collaboration and communication between sales teams and other departments such as operations, marketing, finance, and product development to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives and project updates
  • Manage special projects and initiatives as assigned by the CRO.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key Executive stakeholders, including executives, clients, and partners. Serve as a point of contact for sales-related inquiries and issues.
  • Identify potential risks and challenges within the sales function and develop strategies to mitigate them. Proactively address issues to minimize negative impacts on sales performance.

 

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:
$200,000$300,000 USD
The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between:
$224,000$336,000 USD
