Overview
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Manager to join the blockchain exchange team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the cutting-edge trading platform, ensuring its reliability, security, and performance.
What You Will Do
- Oversee daily operations of the blockchain exchange system, including server management, network configuration, and database maintenance
- Monitor exchange services, promptly identify and resolve system issues to ensure high availability and stability
- Manage and optimize system architecture to enhance performance, security, and scalability
- Lead emergency response and incident management, developing and implementing system recovery plans to minimize business impact
- Collaborate with the development team on system upgrades and feature releases, ensuring smooth deployment
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation and standardized operational procedures
- Participate in system security audits and improvements to prevent and address potential threats
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting to ensure seamless system operations
What You Will Need
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps, preferably in the blockchain industry
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix operating systems and common system management and automation tools
- Strong knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases (e.g., Redis, MongoDB)
- Expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, with hands-on DevOps experience
- In-depth understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL) and network troubleshooting skills
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and capacity to perform under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
