Overview
Our client is well-known tech-driven listed corporate based in HK. They are actively looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer joining their HQ IT team. You will be working closely with the team to implement DevOps practice and engage in new technology PoC projects including but not limited to GenAI.
What You Will Do
- Design and set up DevOps architecture and automation tools, such CI/CD pipelines, automated provisioning, and infrastructure security.
- Collaborate with engineering, development, and application support teams.
- Lead new technology POC initiatives and oversee their transition to full-scale implementation.
- Apply DevSecOps principles and secure coding governance.
- Diagnose and resolve platform issues by analyzing logs, code, and various data points.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related IT field with 4+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer on large-scale projects and architectures.
- Proficient in Bash scripting, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, infrastructure design (including networking, load balancing, and CDN), automation tools (such as Ansible, Terraform, and CloudFormation), and CI/CD pipelines (like GitHub/GitLab/Jenkins/Bitbucket Pipeline).
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Node.js, Java, and PHP would be a big plus
- Solid experience or knowledge on cloud-based security solutions and architectural design and implementation.
