We are looking for a Senior DevOps engineer with high level understanding of AWS, security, systems architecture, tool development and monitoring.
This new hire will work on development of new systems, maintenance of current infrastructure, reviewing and documenting the system architecture, maintaining/implementing/integrating monitoring system. High level of AWS expertise, understanding of cloud security, ability to refactor systems, maintenance of internal tools (code repository, build systems, etc.)
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve our continuous delivery tools and pipelines.
- Maintain and improve our monitoring and alerting.
- Research, develop and implement new platforms and technologies to improve general workflow to support our current and future projects and products.
- Maintain comprehensive site and system level monitoring coverage across all hosted services
- Analyse, review, implement, and enforce network, data and communication security standards
- Design, implement and maintenance of platform architectures for infrastructure
- Improve our platforms scalability, reliability, availability and security
- Developing and maintaining CI/CD and build systems, improve performance issues
- Design and implement pipelines to run systems with minimal downtime
- Design system for platform monitoring and alerting
- Maintenance of Git and build systems
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Good understanding of game development and build pipeline
- Able to understand current systems, technical implementations, and limitations
- Experience with cloud services and tools (AWS, GCP, Docker etc)
- Good knowledge of AWS systems (EC2, RDS, Redshift, EKS, CloudFormation, CloudWatch)
- Solid Linux, MacOS and scripting languages (bash, Python, etc.) knowledge, experience on administrating server OS
- Solid understanding of build systems, CI/CD pipelines and deployment pipelines
- Able to understand current systems, technical implementations, and limitations
- Able to work with a small team to implement, deploy and troubleshoot wide range of issues in a production environment
