Capitolis is looking for a passionate, experienced and curios DevOps Engineer with proven Production level experience to take an active part in designing, implementing and maintaining complex financial infrastructures in a high regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance business continuity of a Production system in the finance sector
- Develop and deploy critical infrastructure changes to Production
- Deploy & manage advanced security solutions to protect high value trades and transactions.
- Supporting an exactly-once with zero data loss transaction processing system.
- Deploy and maintain infrastructure automation and configuration management tools
- Design and implement an orchestration solution for dozens of containerized micro-services.
- Support, improve and upgrade a continuous deployment environment.
- Support improve and update our DevOps Technology Stack: AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, Ansible, Terraform, Python, ELK & more
Who You Are
- At least 10 years of industry experience as R&D/ QA /IT
- At least 5 years of experience as a DevOps
- Hands on experience in supporting business continuity of Critical Production Systems
- Proven experience in delivering & communicating complex solutions to DevOps stakeholders
- Corporate Information Security hands on experience
- Broad understanding of networking
- Experienced with continuous integration tools
- Experience with IaC of a cloud provider (preferably Terraform & AWS)
- At least one scripting language (e.g. Python, Groovy, Bash)
- Experienced with Kubernetes, Docker containers management and orchestration
- Experience in Windows & Linux Server system administration – a plus
- Experience in Linux system administration – a plus
- Good interpersonal communication and written skills in English
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have
- BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience in Microsoft MS-SQL server database administration
- Experience with Postgres on AWS RDS
- Experience with CI/CD integrations with SCM and code review tools.
- Experience with Helm Charts
- Experience with ArgoCD
- Experience with Cloud Cost reduction
- Proven Database Administration experience
- Master in Database Troubleshooting
- Familiar with Database Security best practices
