Your Team:

The Platform team at BlueOptima plays a crucial role in providing a scalable technology platform for product development, adhering to our core principles of Self Service and Containerization. We collaborate with product teams to:

  • Self Service:
    • Empower developers with self-service tools and automation to provision and manage their own infrastructure resources, promoting agility and faster development cycles.
  • Containerization:
    • Focus on containerizing application stacks to ensure consistency across development, CI/CD, and production environments. This approach enables portability, scalability, and faster deployments.

What You Need to Succeed at BlueOptima:

  • Experience 5 years plus.
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience designing, building, and managing cloud infrastructure using AWS.
  • 2-4 years of experience with a programming language like Java or Python.
  • Proven experience writing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Strong understanding of core AWS services and best practices.
  • Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef (With Ansible is a plus).
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python or Bash.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
  • Ability to analyse and interpret logs and metrics.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
