What your mission is:
The teams are themselves supportive of the applications and are used around the world. You will represent Sytac as a engineers and integrate into teams, systems and products while working with internal stakeholders and the rest of the company. You will have the opportunity to build the infrastructure foundation of critical applications. You will integrate the application into the Cloud and set up the working model for the continuous delivery pipeline. You will be working in our cross border DevOps team responsible for the development and operations of the automation platform. You will be automating the daily operations tasks, implementing preventive maintenance automation as well as monitoring the environments.
The goal is to automate all relevant repetitive tasks:
- Engage closely with product squads to deliver highly available and scalable services
- Build automation scripts and frameworks to improve operational processes and procedures
- Driving ongoing improvements and efficiencies in operational practices, tools & processes
- Provide a seamless transition of the automation platform from the current supplier towards the internal platform
- Build and deploy automation to manage repetitive operational tasks both in the cloud as well as on-premise environments
You are:
- A driven DevOps Engineer with a bachelor's or master's.
- You are a professional Azure Engineer with at least five years of experience.
- You have excellent knowledge of Cloud and DevOps.
On top of that, you have experience with:
- DevOps (Infra) area of IaaS, PaaS and SaaS services
- Infrastructure as Code (e.g. ARM, Terraform or PowerShell)
- Windows Servers, Microsoft SQL, and Azure
- PowerShell and Python
- Azure: PowerShell, CLI, DataBricks
- Ability to write scripts without effort
- Azure Automation combined with Hybrid Workers
- Knowledge of at least one CI/CD software like Jenkins, Puppet, or Azure DevOps
- Network management
To really raise our eyebrows
- Experience in application monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPC, subnetting, VPNs, etc.)
- Experience in automation tools such as CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Terraform etc.
- Working knowledge of Azure and GCP landscape.
