Our client is a leading crypto exchange platform primarily focused on the SEA market. As they expand their offerings, they are now venturing into the development of innovative online mini-games, including gambling-style experiences. Their focus is on creating engaging, real-time gaming experiences that seamlessly integrate with their existing cryptocurrency exchange platform, leveraging web3 technologies to provide unique and secure gaming opportunities for their users.
What You Will Do:
- Design and develop backend systems for real-time mini-games using web socket technologies
- Create and implement game logic and mechanics for various online mini-games
- Optimize performance and ensure scalability of game systems
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate game systems with user interfaces
- Implement secure and fair gameplay mechanics, especially for games involving chance (e.g., slot machines)
- Work on continuous improvement
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Hands-on experience with WebSocket protocols and real-time communication
- Previous experience in developing online casino-style games or slot machines is a big plus
- Familiarity with web3 technologies and blockchain integration
- Experience in developing game logic and mechanics, particularly for browser-based games
- Familiarity with game development concepts, even without using traditional game engines
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment
