Our Team 
You’ll be part of a fast-paced, cross-functional team responsible for operating, maintaining, and enhancing the platform that enables the delivery of MYOB Acumatica ERP to our customers. While this helps businesses gain control and insights, your focus will be on improving the platform that supports this delivery. With an agile mindset and a passion for solving problems, we are empowered to experiment, play, and make a real difference for our stakeholders - both our internal teams and the businesses who rely on MYOB Acumatica.   

Opportunity 
We are seeking a skilled Senior Engineer with strong analytical and development skills to collaborate and deliver value, creating a user experience that clients love. More than just writing code, this role allows you to shape the work, ensuring systems and tools are reliable, scalable, and efficient, while improving the developer experience and optimizing how teams work with our platforms. We work hard to achieve our goals, harness emerging trends, and strive to improve our product and how we work. You will also contribute to and learn from MYOB’s Engineer community of practice. Job Requirements
- Recent experience with C#, familiarity with working in Linux command line environments, and some experience building systems that involve multiple languages, such as Python to create solutions. 
- Comfortable working in a modern agile environment, where the focus is on delivering value quickly and incorporating feedback from customers for continuous improvement, while actively engaging in pairing and mobbing to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing. 
- Strong understanding of software delivery practices, with a focus on taking ownership and driving solutions to completion.
- Preference for working with modern CI/CD tools, including version control, code reviews, automated testing, and pipelines, while ensuring rapid and frequent deployment. 
- Advocates a test-first approach, preferring automation over manual processes, championing fast feedback loops, and enhancing the developer experience to improve quality and efficiency. 
- Has some experience or understanding of cloud systems and supporting systems using tools such as scripting and observability (AWS preferred, but not essential). 
- Experience in building platform systems or related domains, with an emphasis on building tooling to accelerate engineers, is desirable but not essential. 
- Wants to uplift others, both teammates and internal customers, through guidance and mentoring, fostering growth and development.
