Performs declassification reviews of Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program (NNPP) records in accordance with Executive Order 13526, as amended. The position requires individuals who have excellent reading and comprehension skills, evaluate technical manuals and drawings, understand records management, work in a team environment, and have over four years of experience working in the declassification or records management areas.
Job Requirements:
- Recognize Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program information.
- On site representative will be trained and skilled in applications as defined in this SOW.
- Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years related experience. Additional years of experience may be substituted for education.
- Completion of specialized training in E.O. 13526 requirements, the declassification analysis process, use of classification guides, recognition of NNPP equities, and proper disposition of documents reviewed.
- Completion of training by Department of Energy and be certified as Historical Records Reviewers for the purpose of identifying Restricted Data and Formerly Restricted Data in documents under review.
- Must be able to recognize equities from other agencies and make proper referrals of documents to those agencies.
- All on-site representatives are required to hold current United States of America citizenship. Must be able to maintain a Top Secret and obtain a DOE 'Q' clearance for the position.
- Experience with EO 13526, FOIA/PA, DOD records management and/or declassification are a plus.
