- Develop, validate, and deploy predictive models using Python and SQL, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Implement models into production environments, collaborating with engineering teams for seamless integration.
- Working on AWS for data processing and model deployment.
- Leverage advanced machine learning techniques, including XGBoost and Prophet models, to forecast trends and optimize business strategies.
- Contribute to the design and optimization of data pipelines to support ongoing analytics needs.
- Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful patterns and insights that drive strategic decisions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data science to continually enhance our analytical capabilities.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in data science, with a proven track record of developing and deploying predictive models.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL is essential; experience with other programming languages and tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms like AWS and their applications in data processing and model deployment.
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, particularly XGBoost and Prophet; experience with other algorithms is beneficial.
- Previous exposure to the retail industry is advantageous, with knowledge of typical models used in this sector.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas and analytical findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for using data-driven insights to address business challenges.
- Experience in deploying and maintaining models in production environments, including optimization and performance monitoring.
