We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer / Data Analyst to join our growing team.  You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our data infrastructure, performing in-depth analysis of marketing and product performance, and providing actionable insights to drive business decisions.  This role requires a strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and a passion for leveraging data to improve business outcomes.  

You will (responsibilities):

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines using Apache Airflow;
  • Develop and optimize ETL processes for ingesting data from various sources, including Google Analytics, AppsFlyer, Stripe, Apple Connect, and Google Play;
  • Build and maintain our data warehouse in Google BigQuery;
  • Implement data quality checks and monitoring procedures;
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate data sources and improve data accessibility.

Background Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with BigQuery;
  • Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration;
  • Experience with DBT/Google Dataform for model processing;
  • Experience with dbt (data build tool) for data modeling and transformation;
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio;
  • Strong understanding of web and mobile app marketing analytics, including attribution modeling;
  • Experience with Google Analytics and AppsFlyer;
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills;
  • Experience with Stripe, Apple Connect, and Google Play integrations is a significant plus;
  • Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.
