Senior Data Analyst

Responsibilities  

• Build models and modern algorithms to analyse diverse sources of data
• Use big data technologies to bring predictive models to our customers
• Deliver business-driving data science projects
• Develop tools and libraries for the broader analytics group
• Build self-service dashboards and automated reports to help teams make data-driven decisions
• Communicate results and findings derived from your analysis throughout the organisation in a meaningful way
• Collaborate with other areas of the business on long-term projects
• Implement and share new methodologies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, statistics, mathematics, or other related discipline
• 3+ years relevant professional experience or postgraduate qualification (Master's/Ph.D.)
• Proficient in both SQL and Python
• Experience building ML models for applications including recommendation systems, segmentation and forecasting
• Experience with one or more cloud technologies (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Experience with one or more BI tools (i.e. Looker, Power BI, Tableau)
• Eager to use data for insights and has a demonstrated passion for applying data science to make business important decisions and recommendation
• Hypothesis driven – uses data to test ideas rigorously and objectively
• Ability to lead initiatives and work autonomously with little guidance
• Fluent in English
