About the role:

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our Data Ops team. In this position, you will be working closely with the Exec team. You will look for the biggest business opportunities, explain customer behavior, raise and test hypotheses, provide strategy-related insights, forecast future trends, and perform deep-dive analysis.We are looking for a business and customer-centric experienced professional who would establish a strong analytical presence in the company, ideally with experience in providing strategic insights to the highest management level. Being proactive, helping identify opportunities, and having excellent business acumen with a rich record of successful high-impact projects over your career should be your main competencies.Tools that complete our BI Platform: Airbyte, dbt, BigQuery, Superset, Hightouch, Dagster, and Mixpanel. You will be working with structured data in data marts and standardized metrics.

What you’ll do at Omnisend:

  • Define and track KPIs to monitor and explain the performance of the business;
  • Provide actionable insights from data;
  • Identify business opportunities and estimate their impact;
  • Lead data-driven decision-making in a group of stakeholders;
  • Build dashboards;
  • Coach on best practices in data analysis to foster a data-driven culture.

We expect that you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in data analyst role;
  • Previous experience in strategic level analysis to leadership;
  • Excellent business acumen and experience in defining business metrics;
  • Highly skilled in data visualization (Superset, PowerBI, Looker, Tableau, or similar tools);
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights and see the bigger picture;
  • Well-organized and collaborative attitude with a strong sense of ownership;
  • Working experience with SQL;
  • Customer-centric mindset;
  • Good knowledge of statistical analysis;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Skill to design dashboards/UI that are easy to use yet provide quite complex insights is a plus;
  • Previous experience in product analytics is a plus.
