Senior Data Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior Data Analyst to join our growing Data Science and Analytics team at Figment. This role is integral to our mission of harnessing data to drive informed decision-making and optimize our business processes. The Senior Data Analyst will work closely with data scientists and other business units to analyze data, create reports, and deliver insights that directly impact our strategy and operations.

We're looking for someone with strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and actionable manner. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a dynamic environment, dealing with uncertainty, and collaborating across multiple projects.

What you will be doing

• Data reporting and pipelining: Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting pipelines. Query databases and process data to support decision-making.
• Data Analysis and Visualization: Extract key insights and create visualizations to tell compelling data stories using our tools.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams like Engineering, Product, Finance, and Customer Success to deliver tailored data solutions.
• Understanding Business Needs: Engage with stakeholders to understand Figment's business needs and deliver solutions that elevate Figments operations
• Technical Skills: Writing clean, reliable code in the development of scalable solutions.

What you will bring to the team

• Analytical Expertise: Strong skills in data analysis and visualization.
• Data Tools: DBT, Snowflake Fivetran, AWS, and Monte Carlo.
• Technical Skills: Proven experience with SQL, GitHub, Sigma (or equivalent)
• Domain expertise: Familiarity of working with Blockchains or in the Web3 space (nice to have)
• Communication Skills: Strong ability to convey complex insights clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy and reliability in data reporting and analysis.
• Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting to new challenges as they arise.

Base Salary: The CAD base salary range for this position is CAD $115,000 - $145,000. The US base salary range for this position is USD $115,000 - $145,000. This range reflects base salary only, and does not include additional compensation or benefits. For candidates in other countries, the pay range will be disclosed upon your first interview with Figment (being a globally remote company, the list of salary ranges would simply be too long to note here!). The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum range for a new hire across all Canada or the US. A candidate’s specific pay within the range will be determined by various factors including job-related skills, relevant education, and training.
