Position Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst who will play a crucial role in transforming data into actionable insights to support tactical and strategic decisions. This role requires an individual with extensive expertise in advanced analytics in a consumer business who will contribute to Pendulum’s commercial growth. Senior Data Analyst will be in charge of managing and validating complex data sets, leading collaborations with the Sales & Marketing stakeholders to provide visibility on growth, and supporting decision-making in a fast paced environment.
What You'll Do:
- Responsible for data analysis and interpretation of commercial data to identify trends and patterns to provide actionable insights.
- Develop customer acquisition and retention KPIs by leveraging customer cohorts data to establish LTV, CAC, retention rates, and other performance metrics across multiple sales channels.
- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to understand business objectives, develop data frameworks, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Deliver presentations to stakeholders that convey data insights in a clear and actionable manner.
- Lead initiatives for optimizations with A/B testing in customer acquisition and retention.
- Prioritize data initiatives that drive value creation and which lead to actionable insights, especially focusing on enhancing customer analysis and key performance indicators to support growth across commercial channels
- Develop deep business acumen and thorough understanding of business fundamentals to become an effective business partner that will enable you to anticipate upcoming trends and proactively support with data insights.
Knowledge Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in data management or analytics, preferably in consumer industries.
- Strong business acumen in a consumer business with a subscription model and proven success in providing actionable data insights that enabled business growth.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, and data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Experience with web analytics tools such as Heap and Google Analytics.
- Experience with statistical analysis and advanced analytics methods such as predictive modeling.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment where adaptability is imperative.
