Do you enjoy telling stories with data? At C the Signs, we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic product data analyst to join our team. As a Senior Product Data Analyst, you will drive decision-making with data, both internally and for our customers. The ideal candidate has a strong background in business intelligence tools and SQL and enjoys diving deep to uncover insights and answer critical business questions. In this role, you will collaborate across departments to define key workflows, establish KPIs, and leverage data for all critical decisions. At C the Signs, our data stack includes Snowflake, Tableau, dbt, and Prefect; these are the tools you will use daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with technical, product, clinical, and business teams to develop actionable KPIs.
- Serve as a trusted data advisor, providing analysis to guide business decisions.
- Curate and manage our Metric Library and Analytics Warehouse (Snowflake) as the single source of truth for all metrics.
- Partner with business development and customer success teams to create reports demonstrating impact on cancer detection and disease management.
- Use Tableau to develop and manage advanced reports, dashboards, and analytics.
- Write complex SQL queries in Snowflake to extract and analyze data, providing actionable insights.
- Translate business needs into analytical requirements and identify trends for improvement.
- Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders and maintain documentation for data processes.
- Ensure data integrity through quality control and regular audits.
- Stay updated on data analytics and BI trends.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in product-oriented data analytics.
- 2+ years of SQL experience (must have expert familiarity with SQL). Python experience is preferred, but not required.
- Ambitious team player who thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment.
- Self-starter that can break complex initiatives down into actionable steps.
- Familiar with the modern data stack, including columnar databases (we use Snowflake), ELT and data pipeline best practices, data transformation tools (we use dbt), and git for source control.
- A detective at heart! Passion for digging deep into the data to solve complex problems
- Strong analytical and quantitative background, with a knack for clear and concise data visualization and storytelling.
- Expertise in working with BI tools (ideally Tableau).
- Effective project management and communication skills.
- Promotes a continuous improvement mindset.
- Values open, honest, and transparent communication.
- Healthcare experience is a plus, but not required.
