About the Role:
Builder.io is seeking a talented Senior Data Analyst to join our growing team. As a key member of the founding analytics team, you’ll work closely with the Head of Analytics & Business Intelligence to foster a data-driven culture and ensure we’re prepared for future growth. You’ll collaborate across teams to promote data literacy, uncover valuable insights, and drive operational efficiencies.
As a Senior Data Analyst at Builder.io, you will...
- Lead initiatives to modernize our data infrastructure, creating a scalable architecture to support our expansion.
- Partner with engineering to enhance the usability and reliability of data from diverse sources.
- Manage and maintain key data sources accessible via Sigma Analytics, and spearhead enablement programs to boost self-service analytics.
- Be hands-on with data modeling and pipeline development using dbt.
- Ensure thorough documentation for critical data tables and sources.
- Collaborate with teams across the company to provide actionable insights and become a trusted advisor on data-related decisions.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with SQL, including writing and optimizing complex queries.
- Strong grasp of data structures and database management principles.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, or Sigma.
- Familiarity with event-based analytics platforms like Amplitude or Mixpanel.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and technologies.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.

The estimated total compensation for the Senior Data Analyst role with 5 years of experience is $100,000 - $170,000 USD for US-based candidates. For candidates in other locations, we will align on the compensation range early in the interview process. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors discovered during the interview process, including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
