The Team & Role

The main role of a Zephr Presales Solution Consultant is to ensure solution selection with prospective clients. We do this by ensuring prospects understand the specific capabilities of Zephr, how they apply to their business and how Zephr is uniquely positioned to meet both their technical and business requirements.

 

To achieve this and be successful in the role, we wear many hats. From sales person, thought leader and domain expert to technical expert, challenger and trusted advisor. It is a diverse role where you will be both technically and commercially fluent.

What you’ll do

  • Serve as a product expert and thought leader around product questions, technical integrations, success stories and general industry knowledge for the sales team and clients
  • Use your in-depth Zephr product knowledge to provide technical expertise both internally and with prospects.
  • Partner closely with the sales team to provide strategic guidance in understanding the client's objectives and remove technical challenges
  • Understand a client’s pains and use cases, bringing those use cases to life via custom demonstrations of the Zephr platform.
  • Provide product insights and ideas for enhancements to the product management team, based on client feedback.
  • Support the effective transition of new accounts to the post-sales team

Your experience

  • 6+ years of proven experience in consulting, product, or client-facing roles at a SaaS organization.
  • 4+ years of experience working in the B2B tech space in a technical Presales role. Or demonstrably relevant experience if you want to move into your first Presales role.
  • Detailed understanding of and ability to explain the Zephr CDN, JS and API deployment options. Including CDN layering, reverse proxy configuration, CORS configuration and the implication of evolving browser technology to Zephr deployment options.
  • Have a broad understanding of the following: CMS, CDN, REST API, CDP, JS, HTML, JSON, React, GraphQL and understand the implications as it relates to a Zephr deployment.
  • A self-starter who enjoys everything working at a hyper-growth startup is going to throw at them who also thrives balancing the demands of the commercial team while enabling the wider SC team.

The base pay details represent the annualized salary range for the posted position. While we share a comprehensive range, a candidate’s final base salary will fall within these guidelines and will be determined based on multiple factors including but not limited to: qualifications of the candidate, job related knowledge, prior related experience, specific and unique skills, the location of the role, internal equity and internal budget.
