As the Senior Curriculum Designer at Bezos Academy, you will lead the curriculum strategy for a new initiative for children in their first three years of life, as well as for their caregivers. You will develop a comprehensive curriculum by creating guiding principles, activities, materials, and content that aligns with research-based practices and child development. You will collect and analyze research to inform the creation of curricular content that families use to support their children’s development. You will work with product managers, designers, and engineers to develop content and instructional approaches. You will continually gather feedback and analyze the efficacy of curricular content to increase impact over time.
Grounded in our leadership principles, the strategies you create and deliver will enable us to scale our impact. You bring deep experience with early childhood education and child development and some experience applying adult learning best practices to support families and caregivers. You will find yourself in a fast-paced, start-up environment where you will focus on creating curriculum for caregivers to support child development. Above all, you share our passion to expand access to early childhood education in under-resourced communities nationwide.
