The Senior Credit Product Manager will be instrumental in rethinking our stratregy, capabilities and commercial opportunities along the credit value chain. Your role will include exploring future capabilities such as AI/ML in decisioning, personalisation and optimisation of credit offers, and understanding the growth of affluent consumers. You will be expected to develop a forward-looking strategy, engaging with key partners on both the buyer and seller sides to explore card and non-card lending opportunities and deliver the future of consumer credit in UK&I:
The candidate will be part of Credit product owners’ team for the UK&I and will provide Credit Subject Matter Expertise (SME) support on client activities, assisting with credit product support and pushing forward the credit agenda
A good understanding of key traditional and emerging players in the lending ecosystem and a thorough understanding of payments regulation with a focus on credit (e.g. understanding FCA plans to regulate the BNPL market, Consumer duty, Consumer Credit Act s.75 etc.) is paramount
They will support the development of a “Future of Credit vision” and Lending GTM strategy in alignment with Visa’s strategic objectives and will work alongside Sales and Business Development to deliver against this plan.
They will work directly with our Issuers and Lenders to develop and deliver new lending propositions, taking a customer- centric and data driven approach, delivering a clear ROI to Visa and the client.
They will work directly with our Merchants, Acquirers and Enablers to develop and deliver new embedded finance propositions, taking a customer- centric and data driven approach, delivering a clear ROI to Visa and the client
The candidate will work with product and segment managers in the UKI and European Hub product teams, Consulting and Marketing to develop commercially viable propositions that combine Visa and partner assets to meet consumer lending needs.
What we expect of you, day to day.
Lead day to day management of Visa’s credit product strategy and opportunity identification, including both short- and long-term strategic planning for lendin, along a revised understanding of the end-to-end value credit value chain
Maintain oversight on consumer trends, changes in the lending ecosystem and regulatory landscape, and integrate as part of Credit Product strategy and solutioning
Lead credit relationships with issuers, working towards the delivery of credit products and propositions and accelerate market adoption of products already live in market.
Support the Credit Origination strategy facing off to Issuers and Lenders, working towards the delivery of a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and accelerate market adoption.
Provide analysis and input for key Client RfPs and providing stakeholders with regular updates on credit performance.
Use your product expertise and commercial acumen to propose new lending solutions, leveraging proprietary and partner capabilities, placing the consumer at the heart of it.
Develop, roll out and monitor of financial performance indicators for credit products across segments, consisting of revenue targets and product metrics.
Lead delivery of Visa Instalments APIs network upgrade, managing seller side engagements, working closely with key account directors to scale the proposition
Continue to develop Visa’s market thought leadership perspective on the future of consumer credit and embedded finance.
Progress Visa’s horizontal product integration strategy developing consistent client experiences across market leading products (Visa Flexible Credential, Visa Instalments, Click to Pay & Tink).
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
