Position Summary

The Senior Creative Operations Manager will provide organizational leadership by creating an optimal working environment that fosters the development and production of innovative creative ideas. This role blends strategic thinking with executional rigor and is a great opportunity to partner closely with leaders across the org to evolve our creative process and working model. They’ll have an opportunity to iterate, innovate and introduce new systems and processes to the marketing and creative teams. In this position, you will work closely with the Marketing Operations Manager and will report to the Creative Director.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $124,000 - $191,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

This is a hybrid position with the expectation to work in Palo Alto office 2 days a week.

What You’ll Do:

  • This role is integral in the communication and organizational leadership for the in-house Creative team. They’ll have visibility into all active and upcoming workstreams – innovating, iterating and introducing processes & systems that best work within the in-house team
  • Excellence in people management– naturally finding ways to solve gaps in communication and proactive in seeing the blockers to clear paths for the Creative team
  • Best-in-class vendor and contractor management – tailoring creative project roadmaps, onboarding materials and communication that best sets up projects for success
  • Effective communication skills and calm under pressure – ability to work within the highly iterative nature of creative development and production
  • Manage external contributors - bringing a strong, multi-dimensional network of creative collaborators which could include creative freelancers, production houses animation studios, ect
  • Ability to effectively traffic and manage day-to-day creative workstreams
  • Provide guidance on Creative team demand, capacity and planning
  • Develop and manage budgets adhering to scope, timing and approved budgets
  • Ensure the highest creative standards are achieved and on-brand
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance and finance on marketing initiatives for sign-off
  • Possess and understand capabilities and production needs for all creative production types (video, digital media, LCM, web, print).

What We’re Looking For:

  • 7+ years of Operations, Project Management and Creative Production experience, with a focus on creative, executional and organizational excellence 
  • Must be confident, poised, and optimistic with a proactive ‘what’s coming next’ mindset. They will co-own the execution of the marketing campaigns and collaborate with the Creative Director to set the team up for success
  • Highly-organized and a steward of time management with a keen attention to detail
  • Proven history of collaborating with creative people and creating success through organizational leadership. 
  • Understands the inner workings of how an internal marketing team works and creates the optimal environment for creative innovation 
  • Enjoys creating opportunistic, tangible pathways that connect the dots to others within a team
  • Technical understanding of creative productions of integrated campaigns, digital, social media, video, and print
  • Hands-on experience implementing, managing, and/or scaling Digital Asset Management systems
  • Ability to thrive and effectively communicate in a remote work environment
  • Must have knowledge of Monday.com 
  • Experience in fintech or other regulated industries with legal & compliance functions is a plus
