The Country Human Resources (HR) Manager is a pivotal role within the INNIO organization, tasked with overseeing and managing all HR-related activities in Germany. This role is responsible for ensuring that all HR operations, policies, and procedures are executed in line with INNIO's standards and HR best practices.
The Country HR Manager's responsibilities extend to various aspects of HR management, including hiring, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and legal compliance. She/he will act as a point of contact for HR-related queries, providing support and guidance to both management and staff. She/He will also play a key role in implementing HR strategies and initiatives that align with INNIO's overall business goals.
The Country HR Manager's responsibilities include:
- Leading the entire HR country agenda, including employee relations, engagement, organizational design, communications, career development, investigations, staffing, and compensation and benefits.
- Partnering with local leadership and functional leadership with regards to all HR aspects within own are of responsibility.
- Acting as the primary contact for HR-related queries from employees and managers, in collaboration with third-party suppliers.
- Overseeing employee relations in the country, working with the works council to effectively implement INNIO’s HR strategy in compliance with local employment laws and collective agreements.
- Building relationships with employees, leaders, and the external community.
- Assisting managers in creating a high-performance work environment to maximize individual and collective capabilities.
- Modeling and promoting behaviors that align with INNIO cultural aspirations.
- Structuring the organization to best support business objectives and situations.
- Implementing global INNIO HR initiatives and programs and participating in HR global projects.
- Providing administrative support to local managers and employees on HR processes, systems, and policies.
- Assisting in monthly payroll inputs, with interfaces to external payroll provider.
- Maintaining accurate employee files and cleaning up data in relevant management systems.
- Assisting in the development of cultural and engagement programs.
- Preparing HR reports.
Qualification:
- Degree qualified preferably in Human Resources and /or equivalent experience.
- Significant Human Resource Manager experience, with demonstrated experience in key areas of development, performance management, change management, communications and staffing.
- Previous experience with managing Work Council relationship.
- Ability to execute with speed on day-to-day operational matters paired with strategic thinking
- Demonstrated ability to work and take decisions very independently
- An ability to build effective business relationships
- Excellent interpersonal and strong written & oral communication skills with the ability to influence all levels of the organization and multicultural/ international environments
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and initiate, lead and manage change
- High energy level, driven with positive enthusiasm
- Take initiative and follow-up on assigned projects, balanced by good teamwork
- Team player willing to work closely with a global HR team on projects and open to sharing information and best practices with the team
