Coupang Global Security (CGS) is seeking a motivated corporate security manager to oversee and manage security operations across multiple corporate sites in Taiwan. This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive corporate security strategies to protect Coupang employees, assets, operations, and brand to safeguard the organization in Taiwan
The corporate security manager must have a solid understanding of corporate security operations including electronic security systems, access control management, guard operations, incident/accident response, vendor management, protective operations, and emergency preparedness.
This position will report to Coupang Director of Corporate Security .
Key job responsibilities
- Develop and maintain corporate security awareness and education campaigns.
- Liaison with internal/external stakeholders regularly such as Human Resources, Employment Relations, Government Relations, General Affairs, Operations, Legal, Office Administration, landlord representatives, and vendors/consultants.
- Conduct internal security audits/assessments and address security gaps.
- Liaison with local law enforcement.
- Respond to crisis emergencies, and/or disaster recovery issues that have an impact on local operations.
- Manage local vendors and Security Service Providers (SSP).
- Conduct in-person security training sessions and employee outreach.
- Develop and update various corporate security related documents (i.e., SOPs, policies, checklists, etc.).
- Investigate company policy violations, workplace violence, and security infractions.
- 25% Domestic Travel required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (master’s degree preferred) in Business, Security, Government, or related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in corporate security operations/management
- Experience in guard management and personal protection.
- Understanding of ASIS, ISO and other international standards that guide security operations.
- Experience in reviewing vendor performance and ensuring service level agreements are met.
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in threat management, risk management, and/or emergency management.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
