Senior Copywriter, Performance Creative (Multicultural)

We are in search of Senior Copywriter, Multicultural with experience writing for and an understanding of the Mexican American Hispanic market to join our creative team. We are seeking someone who has worked with multicultural content and understands the cultural nuances and regionalisms of Mexican American culture. You will join a team of creatives focused on our newest AOR win for a large telecom client. As a Senior Copywriter, Performance Creative, you are passionate about digital media and the power of storytelling. You will report to the Associate Creative Director, Performance Creative and collaborate with our internal partners in Client Services, Social Media, SEO, Display, Search and Strategy to develop dynamic creative solutions that move our performance for our partners.

The Senior Copywriter will develop content focused on Communications client. There may be additional opportunities across several clients in multiple industries including; CPG, fashion, hospitality, retail, finance, pharmaceuticals and food.

This role partners with Senior Art Directors and Art Directors, and help maintain the creative intent and integrity throughout the entire process. From creative strategy, concept, presentation, approval, and execution, the Senior Copywriter will have a hand in shaping and delivering inspiring work with internal partners. You will understand the balance between thoughtful and groundbreaking creative that connects with an audience across all channels.

  • While you will often work with the ACD or Art Directors and Copywriters, you can also and generate strategic concepts.
  • Be able to produce content without storyboards.
  • Work with existing assets to reimagine, scale, and repurpose across channels.
  • Understand the nuances of digital media channels, including social channels, website/UX, YouTube, and SEO-centric video.
  • Take work from concept to design to final execution on time, and on budget.
  • Partner with the Performance Creative team to build high-quality creative across channels.
  • Present and sell in creative work to clients/team members/team members.
  • 5+ years creative experience on an advertising, content marketing, or digital media team.
  • Experience in motion templates and production at scale.
  • Category experience in Communications. Additional experience welcome in Consumer Product Goods, healthcare, food services and more.
  • Know how to build creative in social media, organic and paid.
  • Take/give clear direction.
  • Manage multiple work streams.
  • Desire to stay on top of all trends and maintain best practices.
  • Experience collaborating with design and marketing.
  • Ability and eagerness to grow a team.

Additional information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $68,000--$110,400. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
