Senior Copywriter
The Role:
We’re looking for a Senior Copywriter with excellent English writing skills to be our full-time, in-house copywriter. As a member of the content team, the senior copywriter will write and edit content for a variety of projects (including email, print, web, mobile, video, digital ads, social media and more), working closely with internal stakeholders and design teams to brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, and articulate messaging. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology and have exceptional project management, people, creative and writing skills that will be used to create exceptional digital content experiences for our buyers. You will be both creative and analytical, testing new ideas, and reaching, engaging, and learning from our buyers to help connect our content strategy to actual revenue. You’ll be an integral part in developing our content strategy, processes and managing the overall content calendar. The most successful candidate will be a quick learner who has a versatile writing style.
Objectives of the Role:
- Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround times.
- Raise the bar continually for writing fresh copy that connects with a desired audience and drives action.
- Produce well-written content that is SEO friendly and optimized for conversion
- Be adept at varying the voice, style, and other characteristics of messaging based on the industry, persona and marketing channel it’s being executed on.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of communications and industry trends.
- Stay current on the appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistent messaging.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret creative & copy briefs to develop concepts for execution.
- Research and understand the project leads needs and target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with subject-matter experts, and virtual meetings.
- Write original copy and edit content for a range of marketing and communications materials.
- Collaborate with a team of campaign managers, creative staff, from concept development to delivery of final product.
- Present copy concepts and final deliverables to internal team.
- Revise copy based on internal feedback.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related field
- 5-8 years' copywriting and/or content marketing experience
- 2-3 years' dedicated experience in B2B software writing
- Strong ability to do short and long-form writing
- Experience using a project management platform like Wrike, Monday.com Asana preferred, but not required.
- Proven self-starter, ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
