What We Need:

2K is looking for a talented and passionate senior copywriter to join our in-house Creative Services team, focusing on a new AAA IP. You would work on all things related to these franchises, ranging from taglines to social posts and everything in between. 

Additionally, we’re looking for someone who’s passionate about games and gaming culture, with a strong knowledge of live service titles and a deep understanding of current gaming culture and fandom.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work in collaboration with marketing and the related creative studios to perform and fulfill a wide variety of copy needs.
  • Create content for our brands’ social media channels.
  • Create customer-facing marketing content across multiple digital channels that results. in effective and exciting communication.
  • Follow brand guidelines and maintain a clear brand tone of voice.
  • Ensure product, technical, and factual accuracy, and cultural relevance.
  • Deliver work of a consistent creative quality level.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely delivery.
  • Leverage glossaries and style guides to ensure brand alignment.
  • Work collaboratively with a global production team at 2K.
  • Keep own product and brand knowledge up to date.
  • Proactively contribute feedback and ideas for process improvements.

What Will Make You A Great Fit

  • Impeccable writing skills and ability to develop innovative creative work that’s in-line with the overall brand strategy.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, combined with the ability to digest the brief and focus only on the details that matter, so that the resulting copy is clear and simple.
  • Ability to work independently but also able to create good rapport with other team members and clients, across multiple timezones.
  • Proven ability to manage and organize multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong desire to make cool stuff, write copy worth reading, and actually connect with fans
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to adapt and manage an evolving environment where change is often around the corner.
  • Degree or equivalent.
  • 6+ years Copywriting experience OR awesome portfolio.
  • Previous Live-service experience a bonus.

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $80,100 and $118,560 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
