Senior Coordinator, Audience Marketing/ Fortune Live Media Division (Temporary role)
Fortune Magazine Conference Division is seeking a highly motivated, extremely detail oriented senior coordinator, audience marketing, to support audience acquisition for virtual and live events. This position would serve as an Independent Contractor. Primary responsibilities include
-List planning for targeted B2B campaigns (manage list development, list sourcing, and targeted research)
-Work with internal stakeholders (Editorial staff, Business side leaders) to build external relationships, extend invitations, and build campaigns
-Coordinate and execute personalized HTML e-mail, direct mail, and telemarketing campaigns
-Leverage social media channels and other outlets
-Manage and maintain marketing campaign databases (plan and build marketing campaigns, manage data entry, list management, proofing, data cleansing)
-Research prospects (Internet and telephone); proofreading (mailing list data, email and direct mail); manage marketing coordinator responsible for assisting with customer response to marketing campaigns (recording changes in databases, trafficking responses, fielding telephone calls, supplying information to customers, correspondence); perform analysis of marketing campaigns, attendance projections, and conference audience demographics; engage and manage outside vendors to execute projects (mail houses, telemarketing firms) project management planning and tracking. In addition, some travel to assist in the execution of the conferences on-site is required. Required:
· Proficiency in the following technologies: CRM systems, Email Automation Systems, WordPress, HTML, CSS
· Database and email marketing experience
· Writing copy including invitations, follow up, internal and external
· Database management experience
· Exceptional attention to detail
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Creative sense needed to develop campaigns and prepare pitches
· Comfort working with high level executives over email, on the phone and in person.
· Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects, and requests on overlapping timelines and under pressure.
· Minimum 2-3 years direct marketing experience, preferably in acquisition work
Compensation: $25-$30/hr
