In this role you combine the tasks of a Business Operations Manager with those of a Financial Controller and create a central, consolidated information base for management. Your role forms a link between the various tribes and departments and enables all data and analyses to be prepared in a structured and transparent manner. You ensure that all financial and operational data is brought together and is available to management at all times as a basis for decision-making, such as:
- Consolidation and reporting: you collect, check and consolidate all financial data from the individual tribes and departments within the division and prepare them in a form that is suitable for management.
- Creating transparency: You ensure that financial indicators, operational KPIs and relevant data can be presented transparently and comprehensibly at all times.
- Analysis and optimization: You analyze business processes, identify potential for improvement and support the tribes in optimizing processes and resource allocations.
- Presentations and reporting: You create precise and meaningful presentations and reports that provide all essential information in a clear and understandable way for management.
- Interface function: You work closely with the tribes and departments and act as a central communication interface between the teams and management.
- Budget and forecast management: You are responsible for monitoring and adhering to budgets, create forecasts with the tribe leads and ensure that the financial goals are pursued in all units.
- Strategic support: You advise management on strategic decisions and provide support with in-depth analyses to increase performance.
- Professional experience: Several years of experience (5-10 yrs) in the field of business operations, performance management or financial controlling, ideally in a matrix-like organizational structure.
- Specialist knowledge: Very good knowledge of the consolidation and analysis of financial and performance data; knowledge of cloud services and the healthcare market is a plus.
- Language skills: German and English at C1 level (spoken and written).
- Technical know-how: Proficient in the use of reporting tools, data analysis software and the common MS Office programs, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Analytical skills: You have a good understanding of numbers, are analytically strong and are able to quickly understand complex relationships.
- Communication and presentation: You can prepare and present your analyses and results in a way that is appropriate for the target group; you are able to communicate complex topics in an understandable and concise manner.
- Initiative and solution orientation: You think entrepreneurially and are able to drive projects forward independently and develop solutions.
