Senior Content Manager (UK Sports Betting)

Are you a true sports enthusiast with experience of writing about sports and betting and knowledge of content management and SEO? Then you might be our perfect candidate! We are looking for a Senior Content Manager to contribute to the success of our own and operated betting sites.


The role
This is a new role, in a fast growing team. As a Senior Content Manager, your key objectives will be the production, coordination and optimisation of high-class betting content for one of our top-owned sports betting sites. You will become part of a highly skilled and dedicated team, working primarily for the UK and other English markets trying to cater to various user groups in the broad field of sports betting and the iGaming industry.

We believe that great SEO content isn’t content that features the most keywords, but is the content that performs the best in organic search. That starts with an aspiration to create the best content for the informational needs of our visitors. This might include crafting stories and providing statistical commentary on popular betting markets. We’re not interested in creating digital landfill; we want to create content that achieves fantastic reach.

Based in our dynamic London office with the team, twice per week,  you will become part of a highly skilled and dedicated team. Working in the UK and other English markets, you’ll be involved in catering to various user groups in the broad field of sports betting and the iGaming industry.

As our senior content manager you will

  • Produce sports and betting content

  • Own the editorial calendar and ensure a deadline driven strategy

  • Take the lead on news/blog content strategy and work alongside the PR team

  • Ensure customer offers are up to date, accurate and supporting content is compliant

  • Make recommendations and present ideas for content beyond editorial

  • Work closely with the SEO team to ensure the content is optimised for search engines and hit dedicated KPIs

  • Work with the SEO manager on event planning and build content around annual events

  • Contribute towards optimising site functionality and layout from ideation through implementation

  • Be goal-oriented and work in a team that hit dedicated KPIs and user metrics

  • Manage 1 content writer and co-ordinate efforts with other colleagues/offices on other language editions
