- work for a wide variety of clients in the public and private sector who invest in sustainability, including scale-ups, listed companies and government participations;
- work on both transactions and advisory assignments regarding optimal debt financing for sustainability investments;
- responsible for the daily execution of an assignment, where you are usually supported by analysts whom you manage yourself;
- as part of the debt advisory projects, you work on information packages for customers, management presentations, risk analyzes and financial models;
- expand the team's professional network and deepen your sector knowledge while working for clients on assignments and participating in sector-specific meetings.
You are part of the debt advisory team consisting of 45 people in the Netherlands and Belgium, of which 8 are project finance specialists, and you work closely with the valuations & modelling team;

With your personal strengths, view of the world and unique personality. You need the following qualifications for the position of (Senior) Consultant Project Finance:
- minimum of 2 years of experience in financial services, (investment) banking, or a related advisory role with a focus on sustainability and/or energy;
- understanding of the mechanics and challenges associated with project finance transactions and experience with building financial models in Excel;
- academic thinking level; strong analytical skills, results-oriented, with an eye for quality;
- excellent command of the English language, spoken and written, and a good understanding of the Dutch language.
As a (Senior) Consultant in Project Finance, you will play an important role in Europe's move towards cleaner energy. With the need for about €400 billion in investments each year, there's a big push to find smart ways to finance energy transition projects. You and your team will work closely with Dutch and other European clients, helping them turn their plans for green investments into financial realities with workable funding solutions.
