The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a technically skilled Senior consultant or Manager  to join our Accounting and Reporting Advisory team in Te Whanganui-a-Tara/Wellington. In this role, you’ll help clients navigate complex transactions and ensure they reflected appropriately in their external reporting. You’ll work across industries, collaborating with other teams (Tax, Corporate Finance, Risk Advisory, Consulting) to practically apply your IFRS and PBE IPSAS knowledge to deliver practical, client-oriented solutions. 

Your typical day will include:

·       Providing practical and pragmatic accounting solutions for unique client challenges
·       Enhancing finance functions by improving processes and performance
·       Supporting clients through disruptive events (such as M&A, divestments)
·       Assisting clients with sustainability and performance reporting
·       Building and leading strong teams, fostering collaboration across functions

Qualifications:

·       Full membership of CAANZ (or equivalent) with 3+ years of experience, either in NZ or globally.
·       Strong technical accounting expertise, including knowledge of IFRS and PBE IPSAS.
·       Experience managing projects in audit, professional services, or industry.
·       Self-motivated, client-focused, and results-driven with a passion for continuous improvement.
