The Senior Consultant will take an active part in various phases of IFS Projects in order to meet Customer needs. They will specialize in one or more functional or technical areas of expertise. Through training, knowledge sharing and hands-on project experience, they will hone their skills to consistently work independently with Customers. Works closely with other Senior Consultants to ensure that the IFS solution delivers the identified benefits to the customer. Key to this is a firm understanding of IFS products and the IFS Methodology.
Project
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in a specific area towards Customers and Partners
Expert Delivery
Be aware of the key business requirements set out by the Customer and the value-added services IFS can provide
Actively contribute to IFS industry competence
Ability to develop Customer business processes
Routinely question and challenge the key decisions that are taken in relation to the solution design
Have a second level of understanding of the BVE in order to engage with the customer
Customer Service
Actively guide the Customers for improvements in their business and validate them with the Solution Architect or more senior Consultants
Understand the Customers industry characteristic and the Customer specific requirements
Essential:
An academic background with a Bachelor or Masters’ degree in engineering, Business or IT (or equivalent education or experience)
Ability to travel nationally and internationally where required
Excellent communication skills
Fluent in English and local language is a must (Swedish or Norwegian)
Experience in a customer facing role
Achieved certification in chosen functional area
Exposure to business process mapping
Experience of data analysis and problem solving
Successful delivery of 1 full project lifecycle or completion of individual project phases (Prototype / Establish) but not necessarily on the same project
Knowledge of IFS Products
Desirable:
Experience delivering ERP/IT projects in a relevant industry setting, preferably in a similar role
IFS products and process portfolios (possibilities and limitations)
