The Role

Veeva Commercial Cloud projects.
You don’t have to be a life sciences expert: we’ll teach you our products and help you expand your skillset. What we really need is your background in project management, especially in delivering software implementation projects to key customers.
You’ll work side-by-side with customers, understanding their unique challenges and needs. You’ll be a customer advocate, working closely with other Veeva teams (Product, Sales, Strategy) to ensure customer success today and far into the future.
This is a remote, full-time permanent role with Veeva. This is a customer-facing role and we have no work location requirement if you are in close proximity to an airport and able to meet travel requirements.

What You'll Do
- Direct complex multi-product projects with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- Manage customer expectations, help to bring forward Veeva & industry best practices, and guide decision making to meet the timeline and avoid scope creep
- Drive all project-related activities for assigned clients/projects with attention to efficiency, speed, and customer success
- Manage project budgets to ensure projected vs actual is within tolerance, alert appropriately when out of tolerance, as well as coordinate rectification when this occurs
- Manage project communications and processes to ensure successful outcomes and aligned expectations by producing consistent high-level communications to internal and external stakeholders on project status, risks, and changes recommended
- Execute on project delivery processes and methodology to support the total quality of project deliverables
- Estimate time frames, quality, and quantity of resources required to successfully implement the project; develop the project plan incorporating all project variables and facilitate completion of client change orders, as required
- Navigate project changes effectively, removes barriers, and coordinate with a variety of cross-functional project team members using the change management process
- Partner with the Professional Services team to manage, track, and optimize the resource management needs and budget across their projects
- Support knowledge sharing within and across projects
- Facilitate proper archiving and accessibility of the project deliverables
- Assess risk on the project, resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely and constructive manner
Requirements
- 5+ years of successful project management experience in technology projects
- Experience with Cloud-based projects
- Experience managing complex cross-functional teams
- Proficient in project management best practices & methodologies and able to adapt to customers' requirements in unique methodologies that they may require
- Experience in project management tools such as MS Project and Smartsheet
- Ability to travel approximately 25%

Compensation
- Base pay: $90,000 - $165,000
- The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
