What you'll do at Jamf:

The Senior Competitive Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for collecting competitive intelligence and translating that into marketing collateral, messaging, sales enablement tools and presentations. The Senior Competitive Intelligence Analyst will be an expert in Jamf differentiation against top competitors, how they compete with Jamf and will transfer that knowledge across multiple internal teams.

 

What you can expect to do in this role:

  • Messaging – Partner with PMMs to develop sharp positioning and messaging on the strengths of Jamf relative to its competitors to produce content and enablement tools that differentiate Jamf in the most effective way. Consistently refine positioning based on market feedback.  
  • Competitive Insights - Deeply understand the technical details of competitors’ offerings. Analyze competitive products and services, extract insights, and share them internally and externally via presentations and content. Further, draw from the deep expertise of the products and markets to clearly articulate how Jamf uniquely addresses customer needs better than the competition.
  • Market Analysis - Assist in regular win-loss analysis to improve competitive conversion rates. Stay in lock-step with sales teams to understand buyer trends and objections, as well as competitor sales strategies. 
  • Intelligence - Be the expert on how our products compare to competitors’ products and their sales and marketing tactics. Be seen as the subject matter expert for this intelligence and share it regularly via slack, newsletters, email, etc.
  • Enablement – Own all aspects of internal competitive enablement across the revenue organization to ensure they can properly position and differentiate Jamf’s offerings relative to competitors across a range of solutions. Present battlecards and other competitive collateral to internal audiences. Support global partner enablement in partnership with Partner Programs. 
  • Product launch – Closely follow Jamf’s product roadmaps to support competitive enablement for differentiated releases. Work with other product marketers to prioritize corresponding marketing efforts.
  • Assets – Create competitive marketing assets such as white papers, collateral, videos, presentations, blog/social topics, and more in collaboration with the marketing team.

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum of 5 years of marketing or sales experience, sales experience preferred (Required)
  • Minimum of 3 years in Competitive Intelligence (Required)
  • Experience working with key internal teams and customers to assess and define market needs 
  • Quick thinker with excellent analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills 
  • Expert communicator (written and verbal) and ability to clearly articulate technical information in a straightforward and compelling manner 
  • Strong public speaker with demonstrated success presenting in a variety of formats to large audiences 
  • Strong project management skills. Anticipates and solves conflicts or dependencies with project deadlines and deliverables.  
  • Strong knowledge of the Apple ecosystem 
  • Track record of success driving outcomes across organizations with multiple stakeholders 
  • Ability to understand target audiences and address their pain points/challenges 
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented 
  • Proven leadership and team-building skills 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Experience with Apple tools Keynote and Pages 
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
