PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION: Leads the development, implementation, and administration of total reward programs, policies, and procedures. Manages foundational compensation functions, including survey participation, job evaluation, salary structure development, incentive plan design, pay program administration and other total reward associated initiatives. Ensures that base pay, incentive pay and performance management programs remain competitive and conform to current compensation strategy. Directs data collection and analysis processes for market, pay equity, and other compensation studies. Ensures total reward policy and cultural philosophies are coordinated and align globally.
MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
1. Partners with leaders to creates and designs a global compensation roadmap to meet future enterprise goals and objectives.
2. Collaborates with HRBPs across the enterprise to align on business strategies that align back to compensation programs such as base pay, long and short-term incentives, bonuses.
3. Develops a governance process to ensure compliant policies and programs are implemented and adhered to
4. Ensures the day-to-day tasks are completed across the team in areas of jobs evaluations, internal equity, and makes pay grade recommendations in alignment with exiting job architecture.
5. Monitors effectiveness of variable pay programs by evaluating key metrics of each plan. Works with Finance department and leaders to ensure metrics are identified and supporting budgets are in place.
6. Keeps up to date on trends and global benchmarks that align with company financial objectives for recruiting, retention, and employee engagement while driving a high-performance culture.
7. Provides input across team in the areas of employee engagement, organizational design and related outcomes, retention, incentives, and talent acquisition requirements.
8. Leads the annual merit review process and works closely with finance and leaders to develop related budgets. Responsible for systems optimization and continuous process improvement.
9. Understands US and global laws and compliance including reporting requirements, position classifications (e.g. FLSA), etc. and advises manager of gaps and solutions.
10. Manages related vendors to ensure service delivery and necessary tools are in place to perform compensation work effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. · At least 8 years of experience in a compensation role with increasing responsibility.
· Previous experience designing total reward & programs including in the areas of base, variable, and incentives.
· Strong excel and presentation skills including an exceptional ability to provide influence.
· Demonstrated ability to handle multiple and varied projects.
· Able to build strong relationships with managers, HRBPs, Talant teams as well as building trust with leadership
· Able to navigate through ambiguous objectives efficiently.
· Strong attention to detail. Ability to use data tell the story and to model outcomes. · Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with a wide variety of customers, Company personnel and others.
· Knowledge of HR systems to support compensation needs.
· Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, and resource modeling.
· Genuine interest in people-oriented work; must display a positive and caring attitude.
· Handles confidential information with the utmost judgment and discretion.
