Senior Compensation Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Compensation Analyst to join our People and Places (P&P) team in Bangalore, reporting to the manager of Global Compensation. In this role, you will handle the daily administration of our global compensation programs, own the reporting and utilization of salary surveys, and support our semi-annual compensation review cycle and other compensation projects. What you’ll do:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to our business leaders and HR business partners (HRBP), providing consultation and creative solutions to address compensation challenges in the business
  • Assist in the daily administration of our global compensation program, plans, and processes
  • Own all the salary survey participation and reporting of data to drive pay decisions tied to business objectives
  • Conduct quantitative analysis to support various compensation initiatives
  • Manage job profiles and the new job benchmarking process
  • Review and propose compensation requests from the business
  • Engage in projects related to global compensation programs
  • Partner with the team to administer the compensation review cycle for all compensation programs
  • Collaborate with the P&P team on various projects as needed

What you’ll bring: 

  • 6+ years of experience in compensation
  • Experience with Oracle HCM is preferred 
  • Great analytical ability, attention to detail, and ability to think outside the box
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, including experience with pivot tables and complex formulas 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility to stretch work hours to meet deadlines and critical business needs
  • A desire to learn and grow
  • Bachelor’s degree required

What success looks like: 

After six months, you will…

  • Have a thorough understanding of our global compensation plans and programs 
  • Own the reporting of all our salary survey submissions
  • Support the annual compensation review process

After about a year, you will…

  • Participate in preparing budgets, modeling, designing, and reporting to support compensation programs
  • Use market data to drive pay decisions 
  • Consult with business leaders and HRBPs to provide solutions to compensation problems based on market and internal equity
  • Contribute to projects and ongoing processes through analysis and market knowledge
