The Opportunity
We are looking for an engaging and enthusiastic individual to join our Impact (Communications) team, someone who enjoys variety within their role and working in a fast-paced environment to deliver results.
As a Senior Communications Officer with a specialization in ESG-related initiatives and requirements, you will be responsible for helping to develop and shape the organisation’s work in this space. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, manage and develop the organisation's ESG governance process, work closely with agency partners, create external storytelling opportunities and oversee the creation of content related to ESG performance and goals.
As we build to our 50th year and beyond in the UK, we are looking to create more impactful communications than ever before. In addition to the ESG-related work, you will play an important role in ensuring our partnerships and community initiatives work incredibly hard for the business and the charities involved (Ronald McDonald House Charities, BBC Children in Need, Fareshare, National Literacy Trust and our Fun Football programme).
This role is integral in supporting our brand and reputation externally, designed to facilitate and deliver on key programmes of activity and partnerships across the communications department as well as cross-functionally.
A passion for McDonald’s is essential, and the role would suit someone with experience in Corporate and ESG-related campaigns and/or projects, who thrives on building both internal and external relationships, and managing multiple stakeholders at once. The role will suit a motivated, self-starting individual who enjoys working as part of a team.
