The Sr. Coordinator of Brand & Audience Engagement will report to the Director of Content & Media and serve as a member of DREAM’s Communications & Brand team. This individual will be a strong creative strategist with a nuanced grasp of social media and the ability to draw actionable insights from data analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Devise and execute DREAM’s social media strategy and manage the organization’s social media accounts, including those on Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and X; 
  • Manage the Communication & Brand team’s editorial calendar and maintain cross-functional partnerships to source content from across the organization;
  • Use analytics and surveys to compile performance reports and draw insights about who our audience is, how well our content is engaging them, and how we can tweak our approach to best compel and grow DREAM’s audience; 
  • Develop and execute advertising campaigns to attract new audiences to DREAM and support organization-wide student recruitment, talent recruitment, and fundraising efforts; 
  • Support DREAM’s organizational branding efforts through the creation of visual assets/graphic design, environmental graphics, swag, and branded collateral templates for staff use, and support cross-functional partners in the creation of their branded assets;
  • Create event marketing materials, including event brand identities, invitations, printed collateral, and signage; 
  • Serve as in-house photographer for key initiatives; 
  • Maintain a list of external speaking opportunities and annual award submissions to support DREAM’s thought leadership efforts; 
  • Other duties, as directed. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, required;
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in content creation, social media, and/or graphic design;
  • Photography and photo/video editing skills a plus;
  • Superior graphic design and writing skills with keen attention to detail; 
  • Advanced knowledge of social media trends and best practices for organic and paid posts;
  • Ability to analyze key performance metrics; familiarity with Google Analytics and social analytics platforms a plus; 
  • Deep interest in keeping up with digital trends and forecasting; 
  • Technical expertise in collaborative, marketing, and design platforms such as Google Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, and Wordpress;
  • Strong interpersonal skills to ably serve as a DREAM ambassador internally and externally;
  • Dependability and excellent organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities at once, change direction as needed, and thrive in a fast-paced environment;
  • A team player mindset.

Working Expectations

  • The Senior Communications Coordinator is part of the Communication and Brand team, which currently works 3 days in the office and up to 2 days remote, per week (subject to change).

Compensation

  • DREAM offers a competitive salary commensurate with relevant experience with the potential for an annual performance-based increase. The incoming salary range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000 per year. New hires are typically brought into the organization at a salary closer to the start of the range depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role. All staff are eligible for annual performance-based increases. Because we value staff tenure in each role, we do not currently cap salary ranges.
