About the role:

We are looking for a Senior Collections Associate to contact clients and collect outstanding payments. This individual will work with clients in a cooperative, yet firm manner to maintain trustful relationships and ensure timely payments. Our Collections Associate should exhibit professionalism and trustworthiness. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and spoken (in English), as well as the ability to work independently.  This individual should also possess excellent organizational skills, as the client base for which he/she will be responsible will number in the hundreds.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts
  • Find and contact clients to inquire about overdue invoices, both via e-mail and phone
  • Manage the dunning process via Netsuite, LRN’s ERP
  • Act upon client responses to collections efforts to determine an acceptable solution
  • Interface with Sales, Client Success, and Billing teams within LRN to resolve issues
  • Investigate historical data for each open invoice
  • Update account status records and collection efforts in Netsuite
  • Generate weekly reports on collection activity and accounts receivable status
  • Accept and apply credit card payments
  • Contact clients across the globe, including US, Europe, Middle East, and Asia
  • Report to the Collections Manager, based in the US

 

 

Requirements

  • 2+ years of proven experience as a Collection Associate or similar role
  • Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and preferably Netsuite
  • Comfort with working with targets
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and oral)
  • Comfort with liaising with internal stakeholders such as Sales, Client Success, and Billing to solve problems
