ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

 

As a Cloud Operations Engineer at Wind River, you will play a pivotal role in our mission. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams for the design, implementation, management, and optimization of cloud computing architecture. Innovation, collaboration, and teamwork are key, as you'll actively deliver global projects, working with colleagues from around the world. Your responsibilities will span from implementing secure-by-design cloud infrastructure and cloud-native solutions in partnership with geographically dispersed teams.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

 

  • Be proficient in public cloud management
  • Possess strong analytical skills
  • Good understanding of DevSecOps technologies
  • AWS Solutions Architect/Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect certification, with a desire to increase knowledge.
  • A proactive mindset, solid problem-solving and technical skills, and the ability to work in team-setting, as well as, work autonomously are essential

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • You should have 5-7 years of IT and Cloud experience
  • Deep understanding of cloud architecture principles and core AWS services, use cases
  • Proficiently design, and deploy cloud environments
  • Automate cloud operations and deployment processes leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IAC)
  • DevOps skills and scripting knowledge leveraging Gitlab, Jenkins/CICD, Python
  • Intermediate Systems Administration Knowledge (Linux/Windows) with a preference for Linux
  • Networking Knowledge (Basic understanding of Subnetting, Routing, VPNs)
  • Possess a good understanding of IT security principles (Encryption at rest and transit, Credentials Management, Identity and Access Management)
  • Proactive, data-driven, and adaptable with a willingness to explore and learn
  • Self-managed, fast learner, with strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a good listener
  • Ability to work with geographically dispersed cross-functional teams to deliver cloud-based solutions
  • Preferably AWS Solutions Architect/Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect certification (Associate)

Security Clearance Requirements
