Reporting to the Head of Claims, International - the successful candidate will have significant experience in either cyber claims or incident management in Continental Europe.  This position will empower the individual to take the next step in their cyber career by delivering Resilience’s hands-on incident management and client engagement approaches to European policyholders. While developing their own expertise, they will also work alongside talented individuals across the business in our mission to help clients be more cyber resilient. Based in Madrid, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with our burgeoning, multi-disciplinary team based in Spain’s capital. This is a hybrid position located in Madrid, Spain. Responsibilities:
  • Promptly investigate, negotiate, and manage all aspects of cyber claims.
  • Communicate professionally and cooperatively with policyholders and brokers to drive positive claims outcomes.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with Resilience security and technology teams to assist policyholders with proactive services and incident response.
  • Assist the Head of Claims, International in developing and maintaining the Resilience network of external service providers to ensure consistently great service delivery.
  • Engage closely with our local underwriting teams to drive strong relationships with key broker and capacity partners
  • Contribute to periodical claims and trend reporting.
  • Ensure claims data and records are accurately maintained in a timely manner to support client engagement and data analysis.
  • Requirements:
  • 5+ years’ experience of handling cyber claims.
  • Experience handling Tech E&O and Media claims, a plus.
  • Fluent Spanish and English (written and verbal) a requirement other languages such as  Italian, French, and German are a significant plus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
  • A robust network of cybersecurity relationships across European markets.
  • Demonstrated interest in cyber risk and a desire to drive thought leadership in the space.
  • Applicable insurance and/or legal certifications/licenses.
