As a Senior Category Manager for the Media category (Books, Games, Movies, Music) at rebuy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Media offerings. This role goes beyond traditional category management; it's about steering the media category towards achieving substantial revenue and profitability goals. Your passion for the world of physical media products, coupled with a strategic mindset, will be instrumental in managing our broad assortment.
We are currently looking for several Category Managers and welcoming applications from Junior to Senior. Please note that the responsibilities may vary depending on your experience level. The key responsibilities noted here are for the senior position.
Drive Strategy & Growth: Lead one or two media categories toward ambitious revenue and profitability goals, ensuring alignment with company objectives. You'll have the unique opportunity to work on pricing from both the buy and sell sides, optimizing inventory levels, sales, and margins.
Master Data & Pricing: Apply your analytical skills to work with large datasets, using tools like Excel and Looker. A passion for data is key here, and if you know SQL and/or Python, that’s a big plus! You’ll be at the forefront of developing pricing strategies that steer both purchase and sales prices.
Collaborate with Experts: Work closely with our BI and Data Science teams to improve forecasting, pricing mechanisms, and optimize inventory health. You’ll be supported by a team of pricing managers and data scientists to develop innovative solutions.
Lead Cross-Category Projects: Collaborate across multiple departments, including product, marketing, operations, and data science, to implement new features and boost category performance.
